देहरादून में रंगमंच में सक्रिय रहे चरणप्रीत सिंह खुद की निर्देशित पहली फिल्म ‘अनफिनिज्ड स्टोरी को लेकर चर्चाओं में हैं। यह फिल्म देहरादून और मसूरी में शूट हुई है। पांच अगस्त को सिनेमाघरों में रिलीज होगी।
चरणप्रीत सिंह ने द ट्रेन, रा.वन, जंजीर, साहेब बीवी और गैंगस्टर रिटर्न्स, उंगली, सरबजीत और हसीना पार्कर जैसी कई हिंदी फिल्मों में अभिनय किया है। टाइगर श्रॉफ, जैकलीन फर्नाडिज जैसे बॉलीवुड ए-लिस्टर्स के लिए प्री-मूवी वर्कशाप कोच के रूप में भी काम किया है। उन्होंने जैकलीन फर्नांडीज, ऐश्वर्या राय बच्चन, रणदीप हुड्डा और अर्जुन कपूर, टाइगर श्रॉफ को ट्रेनिंग दी है। अनफिनिज्ड स्टोरी एक निराश लेखक की कहानी है, जो अपने नव-नियुक्त सहायक के साथ विकसित होने वाले रिश्तों की कहानी कहती है। यह दोनों के लिए खोज और यादों से जुड़ी यात्रा है।
चरणप्रीत सिंह ने फिल्म में मुख्य भूमिका भी निभाई है। समृद्धि चंदोला समेत उत्तराखंड के कई स्थानीय कलाकारों ने इसमें काम किया है। सौम्या फिल्म्स द्वारा निर्मित फिल्म को सेंसर ने यू-सर्टिफिकेट दिया है। फिल्म के पोस्टर और फर्स्ट लुक मशहूर निर्देशक अनीस बज्मी ने जारी किया है। फिल्म का संगीत जी म्यूजिक पर आ चुका है।
